City skylines lit up at night

The reflection of the red tail lights of traffic reflecting off the pavement after the rain

Playing board games with my kids

Seeing my kids apply something that I taught them

Campfires

Road trips

Powerful rainstorms and blizzards

Annie Hall

Boxing

Autumn sunsets on the California Coast

Needing a light jacket for the cool crisp air of the fall

Classic cars and trucks

Taking shelter from the rain outdoors while making small talk with friends or strangers

The desert sky on a clear night

Freshly brewed coffee

Pan fried breaded Talapia or Flounder

The sound the raindrops make pelting against the roof and window, especially before I go to sleep

Wine, food, song, and the company of a few close friends

That first kiss

Taking walks in the city or along the boardwalk

Reeling in a fish from the pier

The sound and sight of ocean waves pounding on the shore, especially during or right after a storm

Black and white photography

Ethnic neighborhoods in big cities

Lighthouses and big bridges (Golden Gate, Brooklyn etc)

The feeling I get after 20 minutes in the suana and a hot shower

Handcrafted furniture

The smell of fresh tomato sauce cooking in the kitchen

Grilled vegetables, especially bell peppers

Diners...the ones with the silver siding and old tiles and counters

Movies and shows of the 70's

A few more:

Moonlight on snow, so that the world is nearly bright as day

The song Les Etoiles Filantes by Les Cowboys Fringants, my favorite song in the whole world

Being able to move quietly in the forest

Chopping wood -- I don't know, I can just lose myself in it

Singing in the car, although getting busted at a traffic light while belting out Mack the Knife reddened my face

A good steak, properly seasoned to bring out the flavor of the meat, cooked medium

Steak fries rather than shoestring

Yeats' poem The Two Trees

Loreena McKennit's version of Yeats' The Two Trees set to music

Road trips, long ones, being the passenger/navigator and food handler

Making coffee; I love coffee or caffe, but I enjoy MAKING it, too

Creme-filled doughnuts

Campfires and passing the cheapest bottle of wine obtainable while talking

Archery

Martial arts of all sorts, whether watching or participating; I can enjoy being thrown as well as I can enjoy throwing, being hit as well as hitting

There are so many other ones I love, listed here by other people, it seems redundant to re-list them. However, I think this is a fine, fine thing to do.

I once sent a friend a list, 100 things about me, which listed both likes and dislikes, thoughts, beliefs -- without listing every LIKE individually, it was surprisingly more difficult to come up with 100 items and explanations for them.

There are all sorts of crazies out there. I'm a hot topic on [domain blocked due to spam]... What bothers me the most is coworkers, though.
