Forgoing this entire thread, I have a roughly 99% success ratio by simply showing them I'm loaded. The rest of this stuff is often applicable if you present yourself as just some dude, though.
Pro-tip: If you don't have money and just want a weekend or so, fake it. Don't fall for the prince charming who treats me like a rose, with a blissful kiss on the cheek stuff. That's a game.

How much money do you make? Normally I would never ask anyone that question because it lacks class, but somehow I doubt you'll mind.
I'm generally turned off by men who throw cash around. Wooing is simple, thoughtful gestures that show he's been paying attention, even if it's just a mix CD of music he thinks I'll like.

For me it's when she talks and I listen to every word in details, and I say to myself "Deary, I could sit there and listen to her talk all night and I wouldn't get tired of it". Most women when they talk too much, they get under my skin and irritate the heck out of me, and I wish they could shut up sooner. So when a woman actually talks and humours me with wit and intelligence, then that's the type of woman for me.
I was on the train from London to Newcastle once, and I was sitting opposite a Syrian girl, beautiful smile and gorgeous eyes. We were talking for the entire journey [3 and a half hours] and the time went so quick like a blink of an eye.
