if he drugged me? if I didn't know who he was? Hell I doubt I'd even remember it. Maybe I'd wake up the next morning and think I ate a toxic burrito the night before. I mean, who knows?

Very serious! The rape of a woman is defiantly not a joke!

I would hope to have the courage to report it, but I dunno. I didn't even report when I was victim of domestic violence, so something 10x more embarrassing and humiliating and hurtful than domestic violence is difficult to grasps my mind around. So I don't know what I would do. I really don't know.
At least you're being honest. I highly doubt a lot of men would go into Die Hard vigilante/revenge mode, realistically. They might want to, whether they could or would go through with it is questionable.

Well I think its hard to say what you would do. For me I believe that there are worse things than death. None of us are getting out of this life alive. So to me its worth it to seek revenge if possible. I would have no problem seeking and destroying someone who raped me or a loved one. And it would happen in a painful way. If they send me to prison fine. Thats the price I pay. In a few decades Ill be dead just the same.

But I think that most people dont have the salt to kill even for that. After the fact anyway. Unless you have been faced with extreme violence its hard to say how you would react. I have seen and dealt violence. And while I dont like it I have no problem inflicting violence when needed and justified. Shooting a rapist would bother me about as much as shooting a rabid dog. And thats not at all.

Logics Kryptonite.

I don't know what I would do, but since I was little, I would typically right a wrong myself, without involving any other parties.

If I knew who the rapist was and I survived the attack, I truly believe my instincts would be to kill the man.

My instinct tells me to stop it from happening in the first place. Be it a man or a woman. You firearm gals get Rugged's vote!

So, how and why are you analyzing what "a lot of men" would do? A question was posed as to what C-D posters would do in a hypothetical rape situation.

I can tell you with not a hint of questionability what I would do, as I have responded to numerous "emergencies" in my life and I am the best judge of how I would respond.

A simpering weenie who gets raped and curls up in a ball would likely not turn vigilante. That does not describe the whole population of males that I know.

How often, by the way, do men just get raped? Are we in the jungle or something here?
