Pretending to do some work today or do you pretend to work everyday. I'm with Antlered on his advice.

Ugggh!

Too hot, too tired and I somehow have to make 2 chocolate ripple cakes, a birthday cake, 4 salads and assorted nibblies materialize, along with transporting all of the above 20kms from my house, artfully arrange chairs, lights, tables, tableclothes then find SOMEWHERE to have a shower and change into party clothes and then go pick up my Dad and still have the mental agility to pretend I'm driving him to a wedding tasting.

I can feel an EPIC FAIL coming on.

LOL.

Just remember that it doesn't have to be PERFECT. Take time for breathers now and then. Try to have fun with it, think of how happy this will make your dad.

Wish we were there to help you. Good luck!

WOOOHOOOO!!! **snoopy dance!** I've just discovered the gigantic photoboard I made up revealing to all what hideous fashion sense I had in the 60s, 70s & 80s (and I had just hoped to roast Dad ) ACTUALLY fits into the back seat of my tiny car!! This is HUGE!!! Now I can actually fit all the other crap in the boot!!

And thanks Sea. I am so tired that if brains were dynamite I wouldn't have enough to blow off my own head. BUT I'll just keep plodding along.

Anyway it's bound to be far from perfect but as long as I can get him there and not have him realize it's not a wedding tasting to the very last minute, I'll be happy.

Oh and I wish you were here to help too! I'm not picky!
(nah, I'm kidding. It would be AWESOME if you guys were here. )

I just bought a pair of boots and their model name is Sierra! Do you think I will be as witty and smart if I wear Sierra boots? Gotta love Kate Spade and her names

You should check if there's a Twinkle Toes model or brand

That reminds me of a commercial I just saw for a GMC Sierra pick-up...

"Nothing beats a Sierra"
