Default Is it a good idea to work your way up to a Friday or Saturday Night Date?

I alway thought the first 2 dates would be best if they were on a work night like sun-to thurs and they if you are feeling each other after date 2 you can go out on a 3rd date on a friday or saturday.

That way you are both used to each other and know you like each other's company. I used to make a mistake by going on a 1s date on a friday night nd it was so uncomfortable because the atmosphere on a friday night is a lot different from the atmosphere on a Monday Night.

What do you guys think?

That only works if the person you want to date has an easy 9-5 job. I can promise you, I am in NO condition to go out during the work week because I can easily work a 10-12 hour day. When I do work on the weekend, it's usually shorter hours so I have the energy to go out.

It depends. If your date is coming from the human society then Thursday is better since they are open late. If she is coming from the kennel then all bets are off.

And eventually you work your way up from 4 legs to 2. Don't rush it.

I thought you were against work night dates because of your busy schedule.

People usually have more free time on the weekends, which is why most dates happen then. I'd be a bit put off if a majority of early dates took place on weeknights. I'd wonder if he had a girlfriend already, so his weekends are taken.

Yes I do work until about 6pm on weeknights but I can leave a little earlier if i had a date unless it was a friday.

I personally think that first dates should be as comfortable as possible. For me, that equates to something like "meet-up early in the week," as opposed to "going out on a date on Saturday night."

Saturday night is traditionally date night, but if you don't want that pressure you could meet for lunch (or go to a museum or play laser tag) on Saturday or Sunday afternoon. The thing about the weekend is that you have all day to work with.
