NO WAY! Always send one. I sent my gram a card till the year she died. It was always propped up all year on her tv. I think a birthday card or any card for that matter can be very positive vibes to anyone. Especially the older set when they have a low day and feel forgotton. I would send it to a friend. Why would you avoid being nice?

Never stop sending birthday cards if you remember someone's birthday and you know their address.
A card does not really obligate the receiver and is usually gladly received.
Unless, of course, you mean an old flame whose spouse might misread the attention?
Or is this a plug for greeting cards?

Good rule. I usually keep a stack around my desk.

It's kind of a universal thing, especially now with texting and email; people love to get regular old snail mail.

Yeap, we appreciate the personal touch. And maybe looking at them later as old sentimental relics.

No age limit to me. I'm never too old to enjoy getting one.
