You say men are not picky enough? If many of us are getting no dates now, I don't think being more picky will exactly help...

Being picky can be a good thing provided it's for the right person. Now my friend, how would u know that the person you're in a relationship with is that Mr/Ms Right ? .. in my opinion people usually screen deep into a whole lot of things that seems to surface later from out of the blue .. and then they realize it was all a big mistake .. and the battle begins ..the so called Mr/Ms.Perfect we've picked on to live a life with, happens to be a creature from hell .. if not hell then someone turned stale .. can you please give your opinion to explain your above statement ..if im not wrong ..your views will be highly appreciated ..thanks for reading
It's very simple. You start off as friends and as the relationship blossoms, you'll be able to better gauge how good a couple you two would be. It's said that the greatest couples started off as great friends; that's ever so true imo. You also have a point when you said that folk screen deep into many things that seem to surface later on and then you're thrown for a loop because you never knew until now. That's why it's important to lay ALL your cards on the table. Let the potential man/woman know what you're about and what happens after that is left to chance. That's what I mean by being picky is good provided it's for the right person.

Kinda both, BUT I think men are only not picky enough when it comes to one night stands, when it comes to relationships they are really picky too.

This is my theory as well. For a one night stand there are likely only 2 requirements: attractive and not visibly psycho and the 2nd requirement might not be a dealbreak if she is good looking enough For relationships, though, obviously there are more requirements

I also think some women are too picky. I have one friend who requires WAY too many things some of which are important (e.g. she is orthodox Jewish and wants the same) and some which are silly (e.g. must wear a certain style of clothes)
