It's actually more often about the novelty of the idea, not necessarily dissatisfaction of anything. A happy marriage can still involve cheating.
Plus, a VERY promiscuous person (off topic a bit) isn't necessarily unhappy at least outwardly, though usually on the inside. Often they are simply unable to view others as people but rather objects that are available for their gratification and attention. Once the novelty wears off, they are fleetingly onto the next item.
The same can be said of cheating in more "convential" relationships but usually on a less chaotic scale. |
