Those with 0 posts I just turn down. Some have a few posts, but I don't know them at all, so I send them a DM thanking them for the request and explaining why I didn't accept it. I don't collect "friends."
I guess some may be long-time lurkers (I have a lot of reps from non-members) and they may know me, but I don't know THEM!
In any event, this feature doesn't mean a whole lot unless there is something to be seen in a profile and it's not accessible to everybody. God knows there's zilch to be seen in mine, but I recently closed it because I got pis*ed off by all others who do that.
