Yes, just recently. I agree with everything you said. It should not have even been nominated.

Avatar should have won. That movie was incredible!

She e-mailed us on Friday to tell us that she wouldn't have her cell down there because she wouldn't get a signal where she and her family were staying. I guess if something bad did happen, she or her family would call. I'm just worried about her.

My aunt and uncle were on a cruise recently ... when that big quake hit Chile. There was that tsunami warning afterward ... how would you like to be on a boat then?

Really, I loved it! I guess it depends on what you were expecting from it though. I heard not to expect a typical war movie - it was a movie about people who just happened to be in Iraq during a war. Definitely not an action movie although there were some tense moments.

Hope all is well on the faultline, Chow.

Was that worth mentioning, Chow...? It's an almost everyday occurrence after all... I know I'll get my beachfront property one of these days! I don't wish anything bad on you - you can just float away and join Hawaii!

Just found out yesterday that my brother put his son (19) in a wilderness substance abuse program. PassagesToRecovery...in Utah. Part of the 2 month program is a 40 day stay in the wilderness...it's pretty severe. And incredibly expensive. I hate it that they are having to go through this...but I hope that this does the trick. Drugs are a nasty business. My brother went through this crap when he was younger than his son is now, but thankfully, he figured out how to move past it before it destroyed him. His experiences made me avoid drugs like the plague. I sure hope my nephew makes it.

To me, the forum has been also overran with some narcissistic women.

JMHO of course.
Midget narcissistic women. LOL!
