I wish I were back at South Padre Island, digging my toes in the sand, and yes, that maggie in my hand...I could never quite catch the beauty of it...
The only time I visited South Padre Island a tropical storm hit the area. I'll bet it would be beautiful when the weather is nice but the rain was so heavy it was like driving through a car wash. I've never seen anything like it in my life, I can't even imagine what a hurricane would be like.
