What is more concern to women is that men have economic clocks.

A young guy has relatively little invested in his life and a long time to make good on any losses.

Once a guy reaches 40, he often has significant assets and far less time to make good, should he lose them in a divorce. A woman must be a pretty good catch to interest such a man in taking such a major risk and committing to marriage.

usually its not clock oriented its bonding oriented.
kids are used as glue, unfortunately the bond on the glue has become very poor.

His clock is ticking at 22. Is he wanting to get married?
You both have plenty time, dont let him pressure you if you are not ready. As someone else mentioned GET MARRIED FIRST! Then wait a few years. This is a decision that will affect the rest of your life for the rest of your life.
