Thank you...exactly. same thing with marriage. I don't wanna get married any time soon, he does. He is all for it. If he could marry me, right this second, he would. I always thought it was the woman who pushed the marriage and babies subject. I feel like such a man. hahahah

I think so. As I've approached my forties and then have moved beyond, all without the opportunity to have fathered any children even though I always wanted to, I do feel that the appropriate time to do so is fast slipping away. At this stage I'm hoping that the best I can do might be to be a step-father.

My biological clock never started.
May be due to the high incidence of teenage and young adult pregnancy where I come from.
When I think of kids several things come to mind...
1. Time sacrifices
2. Lifestyle sacrifices
3. Financial sacrifices
4. Around the clock effort
5. Being held responsible if they get into trouble.
6. if the relationship with the mother does not work out, managing the whole visitation and cooperating with the other parent situation.
Being that I already have to sacrifice time and effort and my peace of mind to make the CEO of the corporation I work for richer, because I'm too stupid to get wealthy myself, and sacrificing what I see as freedom because I enjoy some of the technological and hobby oriented inventions of mankind, to hae to raise kids would drive me more insane than I already am..
