Yes, both girls initiated things with me, not the other way around. Also I have not expressed any interest in either of them beyond talking to them both as friends.

And to Avienne, I have met both parents of the 18 year old and some of her friends. They all like me. No way is anyone going to attempt to run me off. If anything they would encourage it if I decided to pursue her.

Women tend to think of young love as pure. Two innocent young people in love. The older man sullies this.

Seeing the players and operators with their guard down, I know this is anything but true. For women under 25, and especially under 21, most of those who approach them, "look good" to quote one experienced father I know, but aren't.

Those who are "going nowhere fast" have lots of time to pursue the girls their age. They may also have money because they are saving nothing for an education or their future.

When young men don't have much time or money for this activity, it is usually a good sign. Unfortunately, most young women see it the other way. Older ones too.
