I find myself going nuts in one by myself, but I live in an expensive area. Maybe 2 bedrooms and it would be different. but this seems small and I feel trapped, and yet I'm single.. How do couples handle that feeling, if you get it?

They really are into each other and have a lot of sex; they don't need more space. It's just not the same thing as what happens in your life.

It's not so bad. It could be worse and at least you have your own bathroom.

LOLOLOL - you made me almost choke on my sweet tea

True, very true though.

For 6 months last year my husband and I lived in 350 square feet - barely qualified as a one bedroom apartment - and we did just fine

Whole families routinely lived in houses smaller than most one bedroom apartments throughout a lot of history.

Play outside a little.

Much better than barely seeing each other in a huge house, I'd say!

Easily. Not a big deal if both parties are already respectful of boundries and practice fairness on their own.

We are just fine. We don't always have the same schedule, so we both have our alone times. When we are both here, we respect that sometimes we both need chill time to read, play online, watch tv, etc. We respect each others space and boundaries, and we also really enjoy each others company.

Same here. Only it was 5 years for us.
And let me tell ya, those were good 5 years
As long as there's enough place for a bed, fridge, computer and a carpet - you'll do just fine. We actually hosted 10-15 people parties is 350 sqaure apartment, and they were a blast! As long as there's enough floor for everyone to sit on.

We called it "the dorm room"
