I know why I post - for advice. I am not clueless by any means, nor am I trying to make you believe I am. People on here can be downright nasty, but believe it or not I actually appreciate the opposing opinions sometimes.

As I said, I was just always under the impression that this kind of was a support forum and so I became a little confused - in all honesty I always thought all forums were support/advice forums.

Advice is given based on the poster's story. We aren't in a position to know both sides of the story so we take them to actually be honest about what they are telling us. We've had our share of trolls who just want to stir up shyt.

I have actually told people on here they deserve better...as a matter of fact it was the one poster you mentioned. I told her hopefully she finds someone who treats her as she deserves and I meant it. If she's a b*tch and caused her own grief, that's her deal. She came here for support and opinions and I gave mine based on her side.

It's no different than if a friend of mine came up (or a stranger for that matter), I take them at their word until I have reason to believe otherwise.
