Imagine some kind of a high-tech machine that will take every single piece of information about you, then come up with your perfect match... and it would never ever be wrong!!! So there would be no dating, people would just find each other immediately through this machine and live happily ever after.
I imagine virtual dates where you don't actually leave your home, you just have virtual clones go out on the date for you to size your potential mate up. It's the next step in online dating.

That would be sooooo boring....
But you also have to consider people like myself who have never found the right person and of course I'm only one of billions on this planet who have either found someone they're incompatible with or else they never found anyone at all so I don't think finding the ideal mate by technology would be a bad thing at all. When you stop and think about it most people don't come into contact with a vast number of individuals of the opposite sex and they generally take the best they can get after a string of relationships that didn't work. If I could find the right woman out of the huge population of women and it worked for both of us how could that be bad?
The biological clock thread got me to thinking. If it's so hard now to find an acceptable mate now, what will it be like for the children of today when they grow up and start to venture out into the dating world?
Now it's Facebook, Match.com, E-Harmony, Twitter, etc. which opens a whole new world but yet, it still has many challenges.
What do you think the dating scene will be like in 2030?
Our computers will do all of the hooking-up as we sit and watch - computer love.
