or so few female lawyers marry male paralegals? I know plenty of male lawyers who date/married nurses, and same with male lawyers and paralegals. But nevner seem to see women do this. Anyone have any idea why?
Anyway, as to lawyers -- I don't know any male lawyers married to paralegals. Most are married to other lawyers, doctors, or other professionals. Furthermore, as someone who defends doctors and nurses on a regular basis, I have never met a doctor who is married to a nurse; or a nurse who is married to a doctor. At this point, I conclude that this commonly held "wisdom" that one way for a girl to marry a doctor or a lawyer is to become a nurse or a paralegal, respectively, is simply a myth.

Every time I go to the hospital, i always see male nurses.
I know plenty of lawyers who are married to school teachers. I know plenty of lawyers who date paralegals (female). Some lawyers marry each other, but let's not forget, many lawyers cannot stand each other.
Dude, in general, women marry guys with a higher level of qualifications than their own - men anymore tend to look for someone close to their own level as well, if for no other reason than if (when) divorce comes, they don't look so "dependent".
That and why marry a nurse if there are eligible female doctors available?

You go to the hospital often?

That's different from being married to a paralegal. Both lawyers and school teachers have about the same amount of education (graduate school). Most paralegals, by contrast, don't even have a college degree.

I don't know a single one. And I think I know more lawyers than you do.

Here's an idea...
instead of wasting your time and energy looking for ways to justify your skewered views of women, why not actually do something with yourself and your life that will attract the kind of woman to you that you want?

Are you sure yo u're a lawyer? EVERY paralegal I have ever met has a college degree. Maybe some legal assistants can work while they are still working on their college degree, but no degreeless person gets a job at a law firm unless they work in the mail room or the lunch room.

Oh, you are confused The schools for paralegals are frequently called "colleges", but they don't grant academic degrees. I've met some paralegals with a BA -- most of these work as paralegals as a step-up to going to law school and becoming lawyers. The majority, however, went to some vocational school with the word "college" in its name.
