We all pay for sex anyway.. be it dinner/movie one nightstands at some point.. he would just be giving the money up front.
OH that just reminded me of this hilarious song about that very thing.
The Woman Song (don't worry there's one about men too)
".....well, I'm not your hooker, but you're still gonna pay...
"....because my body belongs to me until I get dinner and a movie I don't sleep around until I do a credit check....."
One way or another as a man when it comes to sex, you pay.
You might pay with cash on the table or shiny new things for the wife, but you pay somehow, somewhere. It's like taxes, you are not making it out without paying taxes, somehow, somewhere.
Personally for moral and religious reasons, I tend to think that whole biz with escorts is not really the right thing. Especially where it is illegal like here in the USA, there is a lot of room for exploitation of women and other issues.
I spend a lot of time in New Zealand where brothels and escorts are completely legal(street walking is not) and it's all above board and in the open. I also don't seem to hear of as much about a lot of perverted stuff that happens in the USA. And I suspect the reason is that men have a place to relieve themselves as needed.
In a really extreme example if you look at the muslim cultures were sex is REALLY kept in the shadows and you have a bunch of angry, pent up young men who's only hope of getting laid is to blow themselves up and land in heaven with a flock of virgins.
So I think we can find a happy medium.
I've got a really good friend that frequents escorts(legal in his country). He had a normal upbringing, but lost interest in LTR or getting married but is a well traveled, well adjusted, regular dude. He's now getting close to 50 as well. He's actually got a lot of platonic women friends he does stuff with. But for sex he just cuts through the chase and goes right to high end escorts, has a good time and that is that. To him it's like going to a massage therapist, a dentist, a barber or any other personal service. So I don't know if I completely agree with it, but I understand his reasons and they do make sense.
Having girls/women for nothin was the fun part of bachelorhood. I feel bad for those shelling out money to fill those shoes! And I do look down on women who sell themselves, and men who hire 'em. Or vice versa. That is gross..

If the time needed to drive to where she is or to wait for her to come to where I am is paying, thats cool.
If one just wants sex and have enough patience, one can get laid without paying with money, gifts, or dates.
If one is looking for a relationship or a wife then one will most likely have to pay.
Mainly because its one of the ways to demonstrate one's fitness for a long term relationship/marriage.

So it's better for a woman to be an unpaid ***** (prostitute)?
I look down on men who use women for "nothin" ... and the vapid loser women who let them.
guys who use escort services can be your everyday dude. Regular dudes, successful dudes, athletes, your male friends, even husbands who are in happy marriages etc etc. How do i know this?
My sister did private parties for years and would tell me who'd visit. Don't think there's a single type.
You can still get STDs using a condom; skin on skin contact, condom rips, etc ...
