Sadly, I just exited one of these relationships, not because of my ex (well, not totally,) but because there is too much drama.

First, we will never understand what you are feeling about your child, nor will we ever feel the same about your seed.

Second, we don't want to deal with baby-mama or daddy drama - what that means is ever seeing, talking to or ever hearing their voice.

Thirdly, Why would ANYONE ever want to be second, third, etc.

Fourth, we know why you want to date us singles...for the reason listed above, so why not just stick to your own kind.

Fifth, we can't discipline or have a say in how much you spend on your ex/child, so what do you think is the great appeal about you...unless you are a model?

Sixth, if we ever married, you wad is blown on your previous kids, so?

Elighten me as to what the appeal is?

I imagine only single parent will respond will respond with "selffish" but that's not is, it's called doing it right the first time.

And yet ... single people do date single parents. It's pointless to say they don't. It didn't work for you? OK.

Some think it's worth it, others don't. I'm unaware of anybody saying you MUST date single parents.

I thought you lose your virginity the first time you have intercourse, not when you give birth. Which will not necessarily make you pregnant. So it's possible to be a non-virgin and not be a single parent. You know, theoretically. [/end sarcasm]

Perhaps my high school biology textbook is a bit dated, but I'm pretty sure a woman can have multiple children. I could be wrong, though.

It's not for everyone but their are some people who are ok with it. Me personally wouldn't do it because I wouldn't want to take his focus and intention off his child but I wouldn't be happy with being pushed to the side either. So the best thing would be for me to not enter such situation because it wouldn't be fair to him or his child for me to ask him to choose and truthfully I wouldn't want him to choose me because what would that say about him? It's a catch 22

A lot of parents don't like kids either but they didn't know that until it was too late.

First your wrong. Single people date and even marry single parents all the time. Sorry you have been burned, but I know lots of people that do understand the love of a child, dont have drama arent selfish and arent so needy they have to always be the focus of attention.

What is the appeal. Its called- people fall in love.
