If we say it within a few hours before, we're seen as horndogs who made the claim simply to get in the sack. If we say it within a few hours afterwards, that's just the sex talking.
The best bet is to say it once...well before any sex--and enforce that. Maybe a week or two after saying it, you can have sex with her.
Otherwise, you're just a horndog, no matter what you do.
