We find things WE can do to keep things interesting. We started taking dance classes, for instance, and find places to put that into practice. We actively seek out new friends and experiences. It can be difficult to refresh a mundane life, but be glad you have a solid base to work from, rather than being thrown into an adventure, perhaps by losing your job and being foreclosed on your house with no place to go. That would shake things up, but perhaps that's not what you're hoping for!

We once found it necessary to change everything, due to a job loss and a severe illness, so we sold everything, bought an RV, and traveled full time for two years. It was a great experience, but eventually the money ran out and it was back to "reality" and a 9 to 5 job. We ended up in a totally different part of the country and had to start over making friends and finding activities of interest - it wasn't easy, and I don't recommend a major change like that unless you are forced into it.

Learn to appreciate the quiet times, and each other, and add some new activities from there.

We couldn't pay the rent and had to move in with my daughter with 3 kids in tow. This has not been a great experience, I'm trying to look at it as a little "speed bump" on the road of life. A few years ago my daughter and husband needed to stay with us for 5 months, I hope it is quicker for us, Our house was much bigger and with 3 kids we are sleeping in the living room, its survival mode right now.To make things even worse the tension between my husband and I is incredible. We celebrated our 16th anniversary the week before moving in here, yippeee. A few days ago the the diamong fell out of my wedding ring, we can't find it (because its very small) so I took off the ring. It feels like one thing after another. My husband found work through his union, it was a 5 month job building wind towers, he would be out of town during the week and home on weekends but the money was good and it would put us back on our feet. The funny thing is, he went down to the job last week and the contractor lost the contract on the third day. So now he is home. I guess we could look at this as one big vacation. lol,,,, If I don't laugh, I will cry.

I find it very relaxing, stress free, tranquil, to drive to the lake, river, do some fishin', soak up the beautiful scenery & wildlife. Have a picnic. Go boonie camping.

Best of Luck to you & your loved ones, asitshould be.

Thank you, Hawk J.

Things will hopefully soon be...as it should be.
