I have no problem with women or men having tattoos. Each to their own IMO.

If you don't like art on a womans body, your not seeing the woman! It's the woman, not the art that talks to you! I myself like a little art every now and then ( if not the canvest it's on ) :-)~ Woodzman

i love tattoos. well most at least. i have a 5, a 3leaf clover on my left arm for my grammy (obviously we're irish!) and Im getting her initials under it. then i have "Nannie" and "Buppie" on my wrists (they are my other grandparents) and i have a rose on each calf. Im going to add 2 cherubs somewhere too, probably my foot, also for my grammy because she recently passed but always called us grandchildren her little cherubs!
I think that as long as they mean something that they are awesome. i do however hateeee tribal tattoos or the chinese words that tons of people have.

I for one have numerous tattoos and I think that where you place them on your body def says something about you. I have one on my belly and dont show it off unless someone just happens to see it.I got it when I was 18 and wished I hadnt. Most girls that get a "tramp stamp" or tats around there lower belly usually show them off and end up looking like whores(and they usually are) Tasteful tattoos are something I can repect, not just a reason to show off your ass.

I have 5 black stars (each about the size of a quarter) in random places, I consider my own personal constellation. Very sexy, especially discovering each one individually...

I'm very conservative, and I'd prefer the woman's natural beauty. A little tatoo here or there don't bother me, but if she looks like a wall on an LA frewway, that's a big turn off for me. Also, if she has to spend 20 minutes taking metal piercings off her body to board a plane, that too is a turn off for me.

I've no idea why some guys don't like to see body art on women. Of course, there are some women, as well as the guys, who take it to extreme, but there is nothing wrong with some body art to me. Well, this is the "girls" perspective - at least mine.

Scenario: A guy is walking on a beach and a young lady in a bikini (36-24-36) with a lovely face is walking towards him. He smiles at her; she smiles back. When she passes him, he turns and watches her walk away from behind, as men are wont to do, and then he spots a one inch butterfly tattoo below her shoulder blade. Would the guy then be disgusted because she had a butterfly tattoo below her shoulder blade?

I don't understand the negative attitude. Can someone please explain? I would certainly appreciate some insight.

Thank you.

PS: I can understand a guy preferring not to date someone who is tatooed from head to toe, but I don't understand what is wrong with a small lady bug, or fairy, something like that.
I find nothing wrong with it, you should see my wife, She's got her right armed 3/4-sleeved, two paws on her chest, a tiger on her back, one on her other arm and some tribal in the small of her back. I like them, even though I worry about her getting more because she never heals well.

I question a persons self-image when applying more and more body art, do you really need to change yourself that much? It could hint at a bigger problem under the surface.

and I have body art also.

Do women find it attractive on men?

I find it very attractive. Well, not all of them. But if you have a nice - "moderately" sized tattoo, then I like it.
