Lousy marriage? Who takes care of your needs? (wife, women, love)

I know a ton of people with a lousy marriage but most of them still have an active sex life. They HATE their spouse but still have needs and grit their teeth and just do it. Many think that if they have sex that maybe it will make their marriage better. But within minutes of finishing the act they are screaming all kinds of hateful things to each other.

Anyone here with just a terrible marriage but a great sex life with your spouse?

Personally, I could never have sex with someone I didn't even like, no matter what.

I can't even begin to imagine having sex with someone just because you are married. And then to fight immediately after?

Yes, no and yes. Yes, I have a terrible marriage. We do not have a great sex life because we very seldom have sex. Yes, when we do have sex it is wonderful, partly because for me sex is wonderful period, and I am still very attracted to her despite the fact that we do not get along.

So why do I have sex with her at all? Because I would rather have sex with my wife very seldom than have sex with other women all the time. Of course, if/when we divorce, I am going to be an unabashed **** and ho.

This must be a guy thing, because most women I know would rather never have sex again than have sex with a spouse they despise

Probably it's a guy thing. Rather have some sex than no sex.

My first marriage was terrible but the sex was great. I guess I hated his actions and addictions but I did not hate him. Does that make sense? Even when we were fighting about everything else, we managed to make things work in bed. We even had sex the night he moved out. Now the thought of having sex with him makes my skin crawl. Guess it's the nearly 30K in back child support that I will never get and the fact that he hasn't seen his daughter in over 3 years.
