I'm 43 and have dated a 24 yr old girl before. She wasn't typical about interests and we were able to connect on certain topics. And I don't normally feel or act 43 so it didn't really mean anything to me although it was a little ego boast for me when I would stop to think about it.

Although whether a woman is 42 or 24 I don't have relationships last too long anyway, given my ways. There a couple times our age span did seem to come into play, like in conversation one day she said "I have my life in front of me, I have time". I thought "yeah I use to say that also lol".

It comes to a point where the husband is beating himself in the chest, saying (paraphrasing): "I gave you wealth and status! I put you up in a nice house with lots of servants and every comfort imaginable! Is there anything I haven't done for you??" To which the wife replies: "Make me a widow?"

Priceless

It is worth nothing, and I do hope you'll remember, a lot of what you think today will evolve and change as you do. In the future with some more life experiences you'll have a broader view of the big issues you keep asking about on your threads.
No problem.

It seems to me that a lot of posters are throwing out generalities on why this cannot work as though it were fact. Many young women - older men relationships work out just fine. Like in any relationship, it depends on the couple, it depends on what she sees in her partner and what he can contribute to her happiness. Most men, after going through years of experience, learn something from it, which the younger female partner can greatly benefit from. It works just fine for many such couples.

I'd high five the guy and ask for advice on how he pulled it off.

If they're happy and things work for them then that's all that matters.

If your into it.
I could go for some cougar action, maybe. I would have never dated a guy that old, but know, who knows, maybe I could go the other direction.
