So I asked the missus if she wants to go Iron Man 2. I got an affectionate "NO"

So, I placed a call with the dudes. The pithecanthropuses are out doing one thing or the other. One dude said his wife wants to go too, but if I were to join, he'd rather leave his wife back home

So, I'm planning to go alone. I did this twice back in New York and the people gave me that gross look of being miserably alone, as if I just got widowed.

So, I have 3 more hours to decide if I really wanna go. My brother who saw it yesterday told me it was cool. Should I go? Alone?

Yes, go alone, people do it all the time and live to tell about it.

Why won't the missus go with you?! That makes me sad. My boyfriend makes me sit through stuff I don't really want to see but I only do it so I can get him to watch a chick flick with moi! =) Go alone, I suppose, if there's no way to convince your lady.

1. What do you care what other people think? You'll be much happier and less stressed out when you stop worring about this kind of stuff.
2. If you want to see the move, go see the movie.
3. Get to the movie about 10 minutes after the scheduled time and grab a seat, nobody will even notice you're by yourself.

I wouldn't go to a movie alone--no one to talk to about it. I'd have to sit there like a bump on a log, being force-fed entertainment instead of being able to react to it.

I'm never an imposer. That's why I come off as a loveable freak. I ask once, if I get a "No", I let go. I believe that if the other person is not into it, it's best not to coerce

We planned to go to the Garden of the Gods or the CO wildlife sanctuary. I asked her to look up the maps and went to bed LMAO

Because, I came home from the gym after 2 hours, had some breakfast, showered, spoke to her and fell asleep. Woke up at 5 pm. Had never slept all day ever before all my life, but I did. Maybe it was sweet revenge. But she is not a movie person.

Now she's gone back to her house.

This makes me want to run home and watch Lonesome Dove with my man because he's been bugging me to do so for weeks! Poor guy.

If you were anywhere near Denver, I'd take you on a movie date

You should go alone and it is no big deal. I have to go alone and am used to it. Watch out for the fat dude who's a** is half in your chair and stuffing his piehole with popcorn. He might even share some crumbs in your lap! It may be even worse if he is a belcher and a farter! LMAO......

Sounds like you missed out on an awesome date with her because you slept.

I'm sure it wasn't sweet revenge - I don't know many girls who are into the comic book hero stuff.
