I am an awesome judge of character. As are the women around me! My mom, my best friend... even my German Shepherd, Sammi! (she's a girl!)

My SO on the other hand... ehh.... not so much! BUT, hes a boy. That explains a lot.

I am a great judge of character in all instances except for my personal life. Really, I'm a good judge there too, but I will talk myself out of my initial judgment of men.

It's like a game of Russian Roulette....sometimes I get it right...sometimes I don't. More times than not I am pretty good at it but there are some really good impersonators out there.

As I said before, I'm a really good judge of character, but it doesn't mean that I always follow my gut feeling.

I confess to not really knowing what "being a good judge of character" means. It sounds very nice, one of those things that everyone wants to say about themselves, but how do you quantify it? Have I ever been deceived? Yes. I still consider myself a sensible and realistic person, as are most of my friends and family. The people I know who make me go are rare, not the norm.

I'm not trying to quibble--I just don't know what your question really means. Unless that was your point.

I slept with my husband on the first date too.

That's what bonds me to my friends. Some of my closest friendships have begun with the line, "That's what I thought about that person, too!"

In my case it was 1 and 1/2. Not having a condom, I was not putting my future in jeopardy.

When she turned up later as a single mother, I'll bet she wished she'd stuck with character. However, life is difficult for many women and all men of character.

You women posting above don't seem to understand the poll (its for the men) nor the joke. No surprise here!

Why is this poll for men only? It doesn't say it's for men.
