There is one thing to be nice for a while. Two years is more than ample. Way more than ample. Patience has an expiration date.

Deliver. If it's stuff she actually decides that she wants, something that you have never used or would want to use.

I sent my ex a very polite email that her stuff is being delivered to her place this weekend. It will be under a tarp on her porch.

Thanks everyone for your perspective. Well almost everyone.

(Thanks Moderator. Seems like RazorBob has to stink it up for no apparent reason other than for his own amusement. Thanks for peeking in.)

It's time to set the rules. Send her a note (email or snail mail) saying that her items will need to be out no later than xmonth, xday, 2010. Explain that you simply have no more space and are unable to store the items anymore. Make the note kind and respectful but firm - it's a deadline - a very clear deadline. In the note state that if she'd rather not get the items, it's no problem b/c on the following day (day following the deadline) you have scheduled Goodwill (or another chairty) to pick up items from your place - anything that she has not picked up will be included in the donation.
... and that's, that. END If she contacts you and asks for another week? answer NO. If she says whatabout the following weekend? NO If she says a few days after the deadline she has a friend with a truck ... etc, time off work .... blah, blah ... NO!
No worries, no hard feelings, no harsh words ... if the items are still at your house on the following day they will go to Goodwill. DONE!
Best wishes, my friend.

Go to the self-help law website for your state and find out how you can legally dispose of her belongings.
