It's been like this for generations. People looking at the flapper girls of the 30's showing ankle, to the "filthy" dancing of elvis in the 50's, the free love flower power of the 60's to the big hair glam metal groupies of the 80's and so on. Sluts will be sluts, always have been, always will be.

Excellent point. I think we all get caught up in that one and don't even realize it.

Tell me why I should care as long as they're not making babies or catching/spreading STDs. I'm up for any reasonable argument that's not religiously based.

I'm more concerned about these kids than why you or someone else doesn't. But thank you for the invite.

Well, that's the thing. If you can't verbalize to a teenager why they shouldn't do a pleasurable behavior, they're going to do it. "It's just wrong" is an argument that never holds water with teens. They need a reason.

I'm glad somebody here recognizes that there's a double standard when it comes to sexuality.

I think the question shouldn't be "why are teenage girls so easy these days" but rather "why does society continue to punish and look down on sexually-assertive women while it's okay for men to engage in the same behavior?"

both sexes are raised with no parental supervision.....the T.V. and computer are the influences on how they dress and live....weed is ok, dressing with your pants hanging off your ash is ok, shaking that ash at a party is ok, giving everybody some is ok.....because the computer (media) said it was cool........also, texting is cool....day and night...while you are at school....the computer was a good thing yet has its downside

I've been pretty much asking that question in this thread, but so far, no one has given me a response.

Is it because of religious implications? I dunno really just posing the question...
