Not sure if I'm just noticing it more since I became...seasoned--like a fine wine --or agism has been around forever but I'm wondering what's going on in the heads of people who used to and still may think of people in their 40s/50s as 'old' like so many do nowadays. Do you, being in that 40/50 group now think differently or do you still feel the same? What would you say to the agist youngsters of today? How has the old attitude--still present or not--affected your relationships?

Do you, being in that 40/50 group now think differently or do you still feel the same? Mostly still feel the same. Although there are exceptions, being over 50 is old. Unfortunately you get no credit for it at that age. You have to wait until 90+ before anyone is impressed by it.

What would you say to the agist youngsters of today?
Get off my lawn.. kid.

How has the old attitude--still present or not--affected your relationships?

Nice to see a mature attitude and respect for experience GTOlover. Other than living across the country, that 19-year old lady in another thread looking for manly men should be chasing you done. Hope your goat is tuned up, once the ladies see your picture, you will need it to make your escape.
