So I went to this person's birthday party. And a lady showed up, she was someone I had known in the past. She was pregnant back then. And now she was having a baby in her hands.
I asked, "Nice, is it a boy or a girl?"
"Oh come oooooooooooon, she is wearing a dress, she is not a boy, of course, she is a girl, don't you see that?"

She got really offended. She went and told her husband. The guy got offended. And she went around telling the other party people. Boohooo, Antony just asked me this
I am not an expert in baby dress code. I haven't even held one in ages. I have ZERO knowledge of momhoodery and infantology. But really? If I asked such a casual, innocent question, would you get offended?
