I avoid businesses that advertise themselves as christian. Mainly because the personal beliefs of the business owner should not enter into a commercial transaction. Price, service, ability, quality, convenience, those are all fine. If they are putting time and effort into marketing their beliefs, it probably means that they think those beliefs are more important than price, quality, etc, and then those things will suffer.
I also dislike people who proselytize, and advertising your business as christian is proselyting. To be consistent, I also avoid businesses that advertise other personal characteristics of their owners, such as jewish, african american, whatever. |

If I know a certain business is a Christian-owned business, and I have used them and they really do seem to operate under Christian principles, I will try to give them my business as opposed to someone else.

Did he also not eat bananas/pickles/zucchini, visit Washington DC (Washington Monument is phallic), or drive on roads that had been salted (have you ever looked at those buildings the highway admin stores sand and salt in? They are very breast like). |

Why would you say this? I could come up with reasons why they would not be the primary goals, and perhaps even secondary.

What I dislike about businesses that advertise as "Christian" is the implication that Christians have better morals than atheists, Buddhists, Jews, etc. People from all walks of life can have good morals, regardless of their belief (or lack of belief) in God.
(And I'm a Christian, btw.) |
