I wonder if people who see Christianity symbols or verses to be "unprofessional" see the same when they enter a Chinese restaurant that has a big Buddha shrine sitting right near the cash register and incense burning. Probably not.

Everytime I have engaged a "Christian business" I have not been satisfied with the results. In many cases I feel as though I was ripped off. Now when I know the business is Christian I run the other way. The only religious order I would do business with is the Amish. The Amish will give you a fair price, a days work unequaled by anyone, and they are honest.

Sort of get a laugh about some of the "bidness" stuff. There is one Realtor around here who puts Crosses, Fishes AND "Star of David" all on their For Sale signs. Why not add a Crescent Moon, a Pentagram, and a Question Mark (for Agnostics?) so you can rep to everybody? But like I say, it is mostly funny to me. I think I would put the Lucky Charms symbols on mine. (in Irish Accent) Pink Hearts, Yellow Stars. Blue Moons, Greeeen Clovers . .. my kids love that cereal. I get a laugh about the Fishes on the back of cars, too. I thought it would be funny to put some of them on my pickup tailgate. Put some nose down -- like bombs falling over an Iraq city profile -- with a WWJB? (Who Would Jesus Bomb?) for the BushGod folks around here, but a lot of Christofascists (TM) seem to take themselves pretty serious, and would not share my sense of humor. |

Here the client has given you business, and you reward them by prosyleting them? If I were looking for a real estate agent and I knew you were going to do this at the end of the transaction, I would look for a different real estate agent. |

Now, that wouldn't bother me, but I view eating at a restaurant as a cultural experience. I wouldn't mind seeing crosses in a Mexican restaurant either.

However, all they have to do is not read the book. It's not like I follow-up on the results or anything. It's totally up to them. |
