Maybe it's that the Ultimate End will be peace, and we are to pray "Come quickly, Lord Jesus"?

I continued by line of thought on the appropriate thread....I think as far as the "end times" peace in the middle east, to just believe that Gods gotta plan, and well hes God, and will take care of us no matter what. IMHO

I've heard it's a real cultural divide. The "new" Dubai is being filled with wealth and extravagance beyond anything in the Western world and the U.S., yet the religious beliefs of the Dubai natives is so extreme opposite and conservative. My brother was also offered a job (the firm he works for has opened an office there), but after visiting, he said no way.
But anyway, interestingly creepy place.

Beyond that end times, baptism, tithing... round out the big three argumental topics, none of which is essential doctrine. However, I gotta tell ya..... Armageddon is a very cool place to see.
I can say one thing for certain... there are plans to build the "Temple" which is a precurser for end times. The plans (partial) exist and the Sanhedrin is back in business. When I was in Israel (no, I didn't see the actual plans) our guide said they are actively working on the plan. Seemed like common knowledge there.

Yes, moving right along...
If you do a study in Revelation and then look at current events you will be amazed.

To me it raises an interesting question. I think it's obvious we should desire peace but it is paradoxial since we are heading for the opposite.

P.S. Watched Dukes of Hazzard RELIGIOUSLY as boy. Why? Well, partly for Daisy Duke in retrospect , but also because of that awesome theme song! Thanks Waylon Jennings!

The simple form being: the Bible clearly states that in the last days there will be wars and rumors of wars. God created me the way I inherently am, I am a born pacifist, yet that has no bearing on the last days--not my will, but Thine be done........
