What Are Your Thoughts About The AntiChrist?
For believers, do you think that the antichrist is supposed to be an actual human being? Also, is the father of the antichrist supposed to be satan? If so, it sounds like the reverse of Jesus. Does it have to be a man? I did have a coworker who had many antichrist qualities but she was a woman. Also, does satan have to play by God's rules? Why would satan allow his antichrist son to be born at a predicted time described in the Bible?

Yes the antichrist is a real person. No, he is not Satan's son. There is also one other person who is against Christ during the end times and he is the false prophet. He is not Satan's son either.

Yes, I do believe it is an actual human being. I believe he will come from the East and initially act as a seeker of peace and promote himself as meek and mild, only wanting peace for all the world. He is the one who acquires the peace with Israel, but in reality this is later proven to be a lie. He is revered through out the world as a peacekeeper and acquires high ranks very swiftly. It is only after he gets into high position that his true agenda starts to be revealed, and even then, many will not see him in this ugly light.
As far as rules, I really can't help on that part of your question, sorry MT.

Imho he will rise to power somehow thru the NWO or New world order as, if you watch much about the UN, they are all for. I think he will have to play by Gods rules, but probably wont know that whats hes doing, thats a good question here for me as well...will the false prophet and the Antichrist simply be a pawn..how will God choose who the Antichrist is? questions question IDK.

My thoughts? Totally don't like the guy. Used to live below me 10 years ago in this crappy apartment complex and he kept the heat BLASTING, which made my apartment roast! The smell of dead bodies permeated everything since he lived just below me, and he played AC/DC's "Highway to Hell" 24/7 at full volume. I tried talking to him about it but he would never do anything but scream from inside his apartment to get bent . I complained to management and they were completely afraid of dealing with him.
Seriously, I don't know the answers to alot of these questions simply because the subject has never piqued my interest. I just know he's defeated in the end and that yes, satan does have to play by God's rules.

Interesting with today's politics and so much concern over peace in the middle east. Wow, it's so "hard" to imagine someone coming in and bringing peace to the world and having everyone admire and follow after him. Something to think about.

So my question is this--should we then not desire peace in the middle east? I certainly want our troops outta there...should I wish for it all to get worse?
