Have you converted/lost faith as a result of this forum?
Okay this is a SERIOUS question: Has anyone converted to a religion because of this forum? Has anyone LOST their FAITH because of this forum? For example, if you were atheist, have you started reading the bible and asking Jesus to come into your heart/and or/ converted to Islam, etc? If you are currently a religious person, have you begun to doubt your faith and/or became an atheist?

I agree with this statement!!! I have gained my faith so much and I think this forum is one reason why. I do not believe just because someone tells you there opinion on this forum that you should always take them for what they say, because there are many christians on the forum that will tell you something about scripture that I do not always agree with. It is called, a different way of interpretation. But I will say this, any time you can get a group of christians talking about the lord and his grace for us, how can this be a bad thing? Aren't we supposed to lift god up and a good way of doing this is by praising his glory and all of what he has given to us, being his son Jesus Christ? Spreading the word of the lord can't be bad if done according to the word he has provided (the bible). I have so much to learn and I feel so loved by god when I speak to others about what is to come after this life and I owe alot of that to my brothers and sisters on this forum. So, arguy, thanks for pointing this out. I would rather learn about how people have grown in their christianity than those who are turned away from it. If they are turning away because of this forum, then they should go talk to their pastor or priest and discuss it with them, because they are obviously not going to renew their relationship with Christ on this forum if this is where they lost it.

I tried to add that, but it won't let me make the change to the poll. Sorry! But yes, put me in that same category.

If you read the poll - it's right there in option #1.

I have stayed the same. I came here not to be converted to another faith nor to argue. I am a teacher, a minister, I came here to share.
Also I would like to say about this particular forum, I LIKE IT! I have been in MANY religious forums and everyone from Christian to athiest were RUDE RUDE RUDE. COMPLETELY UNREASONABLE. Here it's not been that way. Everyone is kind and willing to listen and "discuss" even if they do not agree. I don't see the hostility here I have experienced in other religious groups, so my thumbs up to all of you. And I hope it stays this way.

1. I was an atheist but now have been converted to a religion!
B. Frank,
Is it possible that one might say, "I am still an atheist. The concept of God is quite rediculous to me. There is no evidence to convince otherwise. But, somewhere in my heart, I do wish that I could find this God that everyone talks about. How wonderful it would be to have a peace beyond all understanding. To know that no matter what, my Father has loved me since the beginning of time and one day I will join him in a place that he has prepared for me. I place where I will only know love."
