kudos to the religion forum (beliefs, angels, about, different)

i just felt the need to say how impressed i am with EVERYONE that participates in this forum. compared to some of the other forums, the posters here impress me so much with their intelligence and most of the time are able to refrain from insulting each other and losing their cool. gets me thinking that maybe religion aint that bad afterall (strange statement coming from moi!)

Believe me, there have been those times when some conversations got a bit heated around here, but it's pretty rare. Most of us here have come to have a great deal of respect for each other despite our varying beliefs or lack of.
This forum is very well moderated! Our moderators are wonderful people and do an awesome job at keeping the threads on topic and handling any necessary mischief.

It IS great to be able to come here and have a level headed conversation/debate/discussion without the disrespect and belittlement.

It's good to see the newcomers! Welcome to you all!

It is the people who own the site and the good moderating we have that deserve most of the thanks..Good values and principles draw people who are truly interested in learning, and sharing their beliefs with each other without fear of much insult or hurt feelings..Many frienfships have developed here, we are not just names on a computer screen... But we do have a few hot topics that our tempers show.(we aren't angels..)That is why we have several threads that are just for fun..We have a "family photo"something upbeat thread..Feel free to start a "feel good thread" and we all come for lighthearted fellowship..

BRAVO TO THE MODERATORS THEN!!!!

but i mean it everyone, it is really fab that we can all try to understand each other's views (or at least not go into full attack mode as quickly as other forums) ESPECIALLY considering that religion is a controversial subject. i am really really impressed that we can have a healthy debate. in the end i think it shows that we are all good people no matter what we believe.

Most of the people here have great respect for others even though our beliefs are different. And the Mods here are wonderful and very fair, they have a hard job and I respect them and appreciate them.

I agree. Although I participate in a number of forums at CD, this is the one I tend to visit the most. Thanks to all !
