A church in St. Louis is finding success in a ministry designed to address the growing number of single-parent families in the black community.
The City of Life Christian Church, a predominantly black church in St. Louis, has launched a series of Battle for Family conferences to encourage traditional marriage and family. Pastored by Bishop Clifford L. Frazier and his wife Pamela, City of Life began the ministry because of the high incidence of single-parent homes in the African-America community.
