Christianity Forum vs. Religion & Philosphy Forum
I am wondering how the two forums differ and if folks make clear distinctions where they post and what they post in one or both forums.
This question has been on my mind for some time, but when I see threads that appear to erupt on Christian vs. non-Christian issues in the Christianity forum, I am particularly miffed.
Any thoughts?

At times they don't. The R and P used to be where everyone posted. Then they made the Christianity forum for "Christians" to discuss, but as always you have those that love to follow us a nit pick hoping to "dissuade" us from the truth.

Not too long ago, there was only a forum called Religion. The Christians wanted their own forum so there wouldn't be any arguments and everyone would be agreeable while they exchanged nice Christian thoughts and experiences.
So City-Data gave them their own forum to try and eliminate some of the squabbling.
Christians disagree about a lot of things, including, who is a christian and what should a chirstian do, believe, think, and anything else you want to talk about.

Actually I was under the impression that there was so much talk about Christianity on the R&P forum originally that others felt shy about discussing other religions and philosophies so a Christian forum was made so there could be a wider sampling of different topics on the R&P forum. If you can't handle the comments from a public forum, perhaps you better keep your thoughts in private

I guess I thought that the Christianity forums had more to do with Christian related topics and the R&P forums had more to do with all religions/ philosophies. God bless.

I'm pretty new to this form so I missed the time when there wasn't a Christianity section. It did seem odd to me that there is a Christianity section but not a Judaism or Islam or Wicca section, etc.

Yeah..we christians have enough stuff to argue with ourselves about without trying to add all the other religions to the mix.
