It's similar, yes, but there are some differences. Panenthiesm seems to hold that the world *is* a god, of a sort -- Wicca, on the other hand, maintains that every living think contains a bit of divine energy (and should be protected), but nature is not, in-and-of-itself, a divine being.
I'll try and expand this thread after work, when I've had a chance to read more of the Wikipedia article.
