Not quite, think of it in a historical time scale.
|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Now we humans have only existed for less than a measly 100k years. All of human history is minute in this scale. In fact that line i made is about 0.2 meters in length, with a bit of math then lenght corresponding since the dawn of man is:
15x10^9=>0.2
1=>(2/10)(1/15x10^9)
1x10^5=>1x10^5(2/10)(1/15x10^9)
=1.33x10^-6
that is to say we are 0.00013 cms long on that line.

The chances of an alien civilization existing withing a range close to ours is minute. Most likely they would have been living for quite a few million more years that us or are not at the stage where they can create technology.

I tend to agree with the person who said we have had interactions with aliens throughout history. Early people just described them differently, in terms of the day. Moses went on a hill to talk to god and get the commandments, well maybe god is associated with the sky: that would make sense. The tower of babel reached high into the sky.

One thing, if that god comes back, I hope he's learned some manners after all this time.
I'm thinking more about alien species making first contact. I mean a really advanced species would probably think of us as we think of wild monkeys

Well one thing is clear to me, this world has learned nothing about God. And it appears this world is repeating the same mistakes of all past generations. We talk about God learning some manners, when it is we that have failed to understand, and it is we who lay the blame at the feet of Him who created us. And the Bible tells us what the world will say when He returns, an that is found in Matthew 24:30.

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth (mourn), and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

When the God of this universe appears, the population of this world will not be pleased. He will not be the one they wanted, and He never has been. And that is because most have spent their life in opposition to Him. For most people, God will alway remain an (ALIEN) to them.

Yes, and if we are wild monkeys, why would they even be interested? Unless another idea floating around is true, that we could possibly do great damage to the planet and perhaps ruin the balance in the solar system.

I would ask to to explain the math, but it would probably be too far over my head. I envy you, that.

It might be more like we are rats to them. This world is full of very uncommon heavy elements which they might want and sure as hell wont allow any organic crap to get in their way.

Im just putting the times to scale, lets see imagine you have a dart board with a really really tiny hole in the middle and you randomly throw a dart. Now if the dart lands on the top half, the aliens have been around for a long time and so are incredibly more advanced than us. If it lands on the bottom half then they have been around for a lot less time than us and so are most likely primitive. If and only if it lands on that teeny weeny hole will the aliens be as advanced as us.

But, you do not think it is a 50/50 chance, do you?

Between aliens being super advanced or primitive?
or between aliens being super advanced or close to our technology?
or between aliens being primitive or close to our technology?

Because
if you ask me it would be something like:

Advanced: ~80%
Primitive: ~20%
close to us: ~0.000001%

I mean i could get a slightly better estimate using some statistics and a few assumptions but i don't think it would be terribly different

This just looks like 50/50 to me, and I would think they would just have to be advanced technologically, unless they are naturally born with peculiar abilities.

Wouldnt it be "shocking" if we discovered that part of our DNA is alien in orgin, which explains why we look similar to them (humanoid). There is obviously some sort of genetic connection. That could be one of the reason the governments are trying to hide this...just think of the implications. We would somewhat be aliens ourselves. There is no doubt our bodies are intellegently designed. I dont believe we randomly came out of chaos. The way our body is built, the way each part functions proved that God or a conscience intellegence created us. The question is, has God's creation been munipulated by aliens (fallen angels). We know its happened during the time of Noah but has it happened since then? I wonder what Humans looked like in the days of Noah before the mixing of humans and fallen angels? It just might be possible that Noah didnt look like modern day man. Maybe he was more ape like.

When you think of time, there really is no present. The future almost imediately becomes the past.
