Excellent point, gsoboi.

It would seem like a big waste of money and time spent for naught. I agree that something must be going on.

My old highschool science teacher told us that science knowledge, especially in military concerns. is about 15 years in advance of what the public is made aware of.

I do not know how true that is, but I really think all of these probes are finding more than is being let on. Don't we have 3 Mars probes going on simultaneously, now?

Very costly trips for nothing to have been discovered.

I think they have found quite a lot of stuff, its just that what they find is...boring to the public. I mean the most information you could get from mars with those probes are things like soil and atmospheric composition. Humidity,pH level, elements found...ect which only an astronomer could possibly find interesting or useful.

I agree, they are spending too much money just to be going up their joy riding and doing little experiments. So yeah NASA is up to something.

I will note one interesting observation. There tend to be a large number of UFO sitings in countries with nuclear capabilty and there also is an extremely large number of UFO sitings in Israel. So there may be something "spiritual" about these UFOs whether they are of evil or good nature.

Wierd UFO in Israel that looks like a "floating building"

YouTube - Israel Giant UFO high

Then again google "Project Blue Beam" and see what you come up with.

But how do you explain the large number of sightings in Argentina and Mexico. I think also Brazil has had an extra-ordinary amount of sighting.

That is unusual but understand that those countries Mexico, Argentina, ect were where the ancient Mayans onced lived. The Mayans talked of gods from the sky the match descriptions of some modern day ETs. (tall whites with white hair) So maybe there is an ancient connection.

That's true, out of the billions, if not trillions of planets in the universe, mathematically at least one should be able to support life. Maybe not 'life as we know it.'

are UFOs and extraterestrials real? This post caught my eye! No way could I go through and read all the replies, but I do want to tell you about my and my husband's experience...
Back in South Dakota when we were just "going out," two different times we saw, I kid you not!, something like could definitely be a "flying saucer."
We were driving at night coming out of Rapid City going up the hill after the Reptile Gardens, heading to Keystone. Right around Bear Country, we both looked up and saw this weird object...round-ish flying above us. It was obvious it wasn't an airplane or helicopter. Before my husband could slow down so we could observe it better, it was gone..in a flash.
Later, maybe 2-4 months after that we were driving out to Vale, SD to visit his mom. We were driving at night on an old county dirt road. We were maybe 10-15 minutes away from his mom's house and again...same thing we saw coming out of Rapid City.
We have done a LOT of road trips at night since and have seen nothing sense. We both still remember it like it was yesterday. Still leaves us dumbfounded about the whole "UFO" sayings...we're really not fanatics, but with both of us seeing these sightings and the obvious odd structure of what we were seeing....ya, weird! These incidences were in the early 80's.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Here is a short you tube clip. The last statement that is said by Robert Dean, in reference to why its being covered-up sent chills down my back. "Its really about us"
