I think that they use these lights the same way we would use a hammer or computer. Probably a tool for gathering information.

Thanks. However, you dont use a rock to crack a nut when you have a hammer. Similarly, what alien worth his salt would need to shine a flashing light to tell his buddies where he was, or to see what he was looking at?

It is looking at things from a normal perspective that keeps us fixed into a certain way of thinking. As soon as we can learn to look outside the box we can begin to see how other things could be possible.

I know it can be very scary to think that we might not be alone. Particularly as it would cause a re-think of the fundemental basic beliefs we hold. It also might have religious issues attached to it.

I have questioned things for so long now that I cannot remember what it is like to just accept what people tell me. This means that I dont understand why there are still people who cannot accept that not everything we see whizzing about the skies can be easily explained or comes from the US military.

Are you telling me that you have looked at this picture and you see rocks and a shadow where we think there is a piece of wood?

I agree that the human mind can 'see' all kinds of things in a picture, but the features nearby the 'rocks and shadow' look remarkably like the 'rocks and shadow' thing has been carried there by some kind of liquid.

It just looks out of place there and I cannot understand how you can 'see' rocks and shadow where I see a railway sleeper.

I think if you showed 10 people that photo, 7 would say that it looked like a large piece of wood, but maybe you would think that the 7 were delusional and the 3 were sane?

I do believe more than one "alien" form exists from more than one planet & that they may very well have differing levels of ability. Some need lights, some don't? Maybe entering our atmosphere changes or diminishes some of those abilities? Kind of like us flying VFR vs. IFR?

I believe that extraterrestrials, ancient gods, angels/fallen angels are all the same beings. People in different times periods just called them different things. The word extraterrestrial was not in the vocabulary of humans during biblical times so they called them angels or demons. Im sure that technology appeared as magic to the ancient people which is why they saw them as gods and angels. Even today in our advanced society the things these beings and craft are reported to do seem like magic. But today we have a scientific mindset so we dont look at them as gods or angels, they are extraterrestrials. Alot of the old myths are based on truth. Ancient India stories speak of flying "machines" from other worlds called the Vimanas. The ancient sanskrit speaks of gods flying these machines. Then there is the the book of Ezekiel in the Bible where Ezekiel descibes seeing "glowing metal" flying through the sky and that "four living creatures" were in the "glowing metal" He describes the glowing metal as being "wheels" (saucer shaped) and that these creatures were able to move back and forth like a flash of lightening which are exactly the manuevers of UFOs. Ezekiel's account sounds EXACTLY like a modern day UFO account. Honestly I think there is a truth out there that would turn the world's religions upside down and its probabally a big reason for what appears to be a global cover-up.

Do you understand the difference between perception and reality? That's the same kind of evidence used to prove the Earth is flat. Hey, look the horizon looks flat therefore the Earth is flat.

I guess from this that you DO see a piece of wood in the photo but you are playing devils advocate by arguing against it. In fact a lot of things are assumed to be reality because we see them with our eyes, so your comment really means very little in this context.

How about the 'Holes in Mars' then. There are seven of them last count I think. Even Nasa says that they are strange phenomena and had to go back and re-photograph them again. It was picture of the day some time ago.

Those certainly are strange phenomena! The problem is, until they are actually investigated, all we have are theories--really, not much more than a bunch of guesses--onto which we attach descriptions of things we do know about, which proceeds to color peoples' thinking.

This is why I don't have a problem believing that there are extraterrestrials. The Galaxy, let alone the rest of the universe, is an unbelievably large place. There's just no way for us here on our tiny planet at the far edge of the Milky Way to know what else lies out there--even with our little space probes and the beautiful pictures they take.

Well, when there is obviously a coverup or a withholding of information, people are left with trading their observations and theories. Some say they have first hand experience. Others are speculating.

Our heads spin when we examine all the theories and reports. Which do we believe? Do we accept them all?

If I were a government, wanting to hide things this is just where I'd want the public.

I do think 'they' may find disturbing, though, that most people, to one degree or another, do believe that there is life other than what we find just on this planet.
