Would this be an appropriate thread? I guess we'll see.
Anyone want to hang out and talk?

sure I always enjoy a conversation.
Why don't we speak about ourselves
For me the most important thing in this life is spiritual growth that is my # 1 priority, I wasn't always like this, but I learnt by the hard way first, and by wisdom later that this is which will bring true happyness to my life.
I'm a happy person who enjoys life to the max, I consider all what happens to me a learning experience that was projected by the heavenly father in this cosmic motion picture of him to teach me a lesson.
I like to meet people and have nice conversations about anything, I try to see God in everybody, and learn from the wisdom of the persons I meet.
I'm also a wanderer without attachment, sometimes I don't have a clear goal or destination I just go with the flow with my faith and inner peace to wherever life takes me, the only clear objective in my life is my sadhana and other than that I just enjoy all the adventures this lifestyle brings me.

My 1 priority is learning new and difficult things or solving problems. Its like climbing a mountain and you get that really tingly feeling once you reach the top. Now some mountains are bigger than others and quite frankly some aren't very smooth, I used to have my sights on the "physics" mountain but after getting quite far I've noticed that its not as fun to climb as i thought. Its neither fun nor challenging anymore because i keep looking at the one next to it and it look so tiny by comparison.
The one i have my sights on right now is called pure maths and it just so happens to have a height of infinity meters. I think that if i ever do climb to the top then i will no longer be able to come back down but hey, at least ill be happy.

Ahhh math, something so pure and infinite.
untangible yet omnipresent.
not matter, not energy, just ideas meaning it's one of the highest expressions, and yet they can be used to meassure energy and matter.
why are math infinite my friend? i know i'm asking something really hard but it'd be interesting to know what's your take on it

fella....how do you measure spiritual growth??
I like to "save"(stabalize) a person in septic shock, thats my rush........
getting the right combinations of drugs on board, titrating them just so. being able to expalin to the family exactly whays going on and what we can do to "save" 'em.
(I'd add more, but its probably already boring....)

God created the Universe. Since God is logical, he ordered the universe using laws. Math is a way for us to study the underlying laws of logic that God created. So, you are probably feeling a closeness to the creator. God is untagible and omnipresent, pure and infinite too!
Since the laws of logic are not part of nature in that they dwell in our reasoning minds and yet nature obeys them, then maybe math is a function of this spirit world that you desire to be part of?
Since the laws of logic are not matterialistic and not tangeble then how can scientist use them to disprove God? By there very nature they are non-matterialistic. Any scientist and any mathemetician must believe them to exist, yet deny simultaneously that anything that is non matterialistic doesn't exist (In an effort to disprove the existance of God).

Sounds like a tough job, because you have to deal with life/death situations, I don't find it boring but awesome and I would like to know more
imho spiritual growth is measured by the character of that person.
Kindness, compassion, serenity, wisdom, joy and radiance, spiritual strenght (which would be the ability of the person to remain serene even in the worst situations and also the ability of that person to project positive energy and inspire or make others feel good) those to me would be the indicators of spiritual growth.
