[quote=GCSTroop;3537536]I love how Alexander "died while he was drunk." Of course, there's no explanation for how or why he died, only the explanation that he died while he was drunk. Does anybody else find the subtle 'hint' that people who drink die?
Hmm, well..Good bye , troop

Divine comedy hey ? I suppose there is an element of comedy to it albeit a tragic one. Which circle were you thinking of ? I'm thinking the 8th, 4th ditch, where the false prophets end up.

This is surely a great motivational tool, but I can assure you that God does not consign even one person's eternal destiny to chance or to the disobedience or sleepiness of the church. That would be unjust. Also, if fear of hell is a person's motivation for living 'right' that shows me that they don't know God. Trying to scare them into it won't help them.
Also, be careful about sharing visions of all the aborted babies in heaven as more may decide to take that sure road for their potential offspring to make it, instead of letting them be thrown out among the majority who won't make it. Of course, this is an absurd statement I just made. They won't abort them for that reason - which proves that (in their heart of hearts) no-one really believes the eternal hell fire stuff. If they did, who in their right mind would risk having kids???

I know people can make up all sort of stories.
But I take them at their word.
I don't see any reason for making up this story unless that person really had this revelation from Jesus Christ.
Why go through all this trouble in writing this testimony unless you really did have this experience?
Also we will be accountable for our writing before God.

The reason I think she wrote this text was to show the revelation that she was shown.
Sure, sometimes its hard to believe that such a terrible place such as hell exists where people are in torment for eternity. Rather it is easier to think that it is all a hollywood fabric of imagination. But the reality is that such a place does exist. How do we know that?
For one, Jesus came to deliver us from this place. Hell is also mentioned numerous times in the Bible. Yet lots of people including christians do not believe in a literal hell. Read Luke 16:19-31 about the rich man who woke up in hell and was tormented there.
I heard one of my greatest deception of the devil is that hell doesn't exist.
Ask your coworker or friend if hell exists? A lot of them will say no or that they don't believe in a literal hell or that hell is here on earth.

sort of reminds me of the public health videos that flat out tell you that kissing leads to babies or that those who please themselves will go blind and hair will grow on their hands

I believe the scriptural views of hell are much more impressive!
Since humans are not capable of comprehending hell, there are more than one symbolic discriptions of it in the scriptures. Suffice it to say....it is some place you do not want to be!
