Default Is that in the bible?

Someone on another thread actually gave me the idea to post this..They assumed that a saying was in the bible..So I searched that saying to see what book and verse I would find it..Interesting reading if you have nothing else to do on this Saturday night The links will take you to an explanation of each one..

Sayings
Moderation in all things.
Once saved, always saved.
Better to cast your seed....
Spare the rod, spoil the child.
To thine ownself be true.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
God helps those who help themselves.
Money is the root of all evil.
Cleanliness is next to godliness.
This too shall pass.
God works in mysterious ways.
The eye is the window to the soul.
The lion shall lay down with the lamb.
Pride comes before the fall.
Miscellaneous
The Three Wisemen
The Sinner's Prayer
Wedding Vows
The Seven Deadly Sins

Thank you very much. That answered my question about moderation in all things. I am afraid I have been quoting a 'chimney corner scripture ' !
And that isn't the only one. Thank God most or all, have an equivalent in
the scriptures.
I have bookmarked that site.

Thats exactly what got my attention, because I have also asked about where that passage might be..I agree they do have a pretrty close equivalent in the scriptures so are still good lessons and easy to remember
