I suspect that many of those other "misguided" folks believe the same thing. It's all a matter of perspective.

Thank you for that. I have found TRUE truth, and it is indeed comforting.
Now if I can just avoid being badgered by people that want me to accept their truth I will have true peace

When you hear and see testimonies of countless people whose lives have been changed by Jesus Christ, you know that there is power we do not understand nor can comprehend. He is our all Powerful, Holy, Loving and Forgiving God.

Its interesting to listen to their testimonies because the people above didn't believe either until they were confronted with the truth.

Testimonies aren't proof of what is true though since it's someone giving an account of an experience that they had, but experiental accounts are subjective and non verifiable so someone can't test to see their validity. I could be 'confronted with the truth' that there is an invisible gnome sitting on my shoulder and then give a very powerful testimony on how I came to realize that this invisible gnome exists, but that doesn't make said entity real and most people would doubt that my testimony has any credibility because I can't back it up with evidentiary support. It's the same with testimonies that claim to be 'confronted with the truth' of god.

This is what kills me; you aka the original poster feel something watching testimonials when I didn’t. Just because something works for you dose NOT make it the truth. I grew up with awesome parents, very open minded and didn’t force any one religion on me and let me decided. I went to many different churches growing up and you know what I got out of it. Not goose bumps, not any tingly sensations, not any miracles so quit spamming nonsense, If there is a so call god and he send me to hell for serving my country, and living the best life possible while murders, rapist, convicts are forgiven and chilling in heaven then so be it, I don’t want anything to do with him cause hes is not fair or just, a real god would grow a pair and just show him self instead of the bible which merits no credit as half of its fair tales or written many years after the so called events.

Nicky Cruz healed and completely changed Nicky Cruz(though he may not realize it). If god completely changed someone then our prison populations would be dramatically smaller although it's no surprise that that isn't so.
