Yes homosexuality is an abomination.

Any sex outside of marriage is a sin. Lusting after woman or men in your heart is a sin.

Jesus came to save us from our sin.

I still don't see why gay men and women can't be married if they don't lust after people outside their marriage.

Classic pauline arguement. No, if we live in grace we cannot continue in sin. If we sin we can seek forgiveness and turn from our wicked ways. If we continually sin and always ask for forgiveness then we were never repentent and are in sin still.

Marriage is for one man and one woman under God. To have two male marry is contrary to the definition. The new catch word is same-sex-marriage because it is other than normal marriage. Same sex marriage is wrong according to the bible. There is no concensus on this, no debate, no vote.

The state can legalize it, some apostate or renegade churches can perform same-sex-marriages, but it is still against the bible and contrary to the word of God. If the state truly want to have a separation from the Church then it needs to stay out of marriage. If the state wants it can provide people with a paper for a partnership (like a business partnership) for purposes of taxes, paying bills, ownership of posessions, etc... But, this is not a marriage it is just a business agreement.

The Old Testament counts for nothing...Jesus' birth brought an end to the old laws.

I agree here, and it is for this reason I think many Christian churches today go too harshly against the homosexual. When attacking the homosexual they are so quickly to bring out Mosaic law, which I don't think is the best choice of action when ministering to the homosexual. However, Paul in the New Testament still confirms its still a sin, so the morality of homosexuality still can't be debated biblically.

Then how come in America we don't expect women to cover themselves in black like they have to in Saudia Arabia? If this was done there would be less sin in America because its harder to lust in your heart after a vague figure in black.
