Jesus studied Buddhism? (soul, disciples, America, Revelation)

Buddists believe in multiple lives and the power of ourselves as God.

Jesus showed the truth. He did not need to study other philosophies. He is God. And as the creator of the Universer who threw the moon and stars into space - he had no need to look into these things. The God of the Old Testament despised these foreign Gods. Jehovah he is God. Jesus Christ the son of God. Through Jesus I Salvation.

Everything else is a lie.

This is not my view of buddhism, but it could be because of the buddhism I’ve studied.
I don’t believe I’m seeking anything, although I find things.
Budda = enlightened. Anyone can be a buddha.
I breathe and follow my breath, I name things as they arise and fall.
If I get a few moments of peace, it’s a bonus.
I feel that seeking to attain something defeats the purpose.

Jenna, I don’t know where you get that notion, but it’s wrong.
Buddhism does not believe in any god.
It does talk about the intereconnectedness of all things.
You might want to peruse two books: A Path with Heart by Jack Kornfield and The Original Jesus, the Buddhist sources of Christianity, by Elmar Gruber & Holger Kersten.

Buddhists reject the notion of any god figure because it's an attachment. What I'd like to know is why your so confident that Jesus showed the truth when there are so many paths to truth that your own path is just as likely to be a lie.

Buddhists do not "reject the notion of any god figure because it's an attachment".
That's not an accurate statement.
Read/study more.
And there can be, depending on which Buddhist "stream" and what the practice is, intense work and involvement with deity(s) to greater and lesser degrees.

Your right. From what I've read before, the Buddha rejected the idea of a Creator god and argued against the dependence on gods.

Buddhism was around before your god thing.
I believe it would be the other way around.

In Theravada practice, particularly vipassna, I don't know of any god concept.
The Tibetans, of the Mahayana school, have much more of a deity focus.
