I am as real on CD as I am in the RW. In the real world though I don't discuss things unless something brings up a conversation. If someone wants to get into a deep discussion...stand back.

I'm actually more of a listener than a preacher in rl and don't often get into confrontational discussions with just whoever. If you would ask me, I'd be glad to share, tho. I enjoy discussing topics in Bible study, Sunday school discussions etc but like some on this board have said about themselves, you'd probably see me as a quieter person in rl... and hopefully a friend! I'm not a big-crowd person.. get a few people together and we can have an enjoyable discussion!

In the RW I dont have an opinion as much as I do here. I listen more. But for the most part I act like someone off Saturday Night Live (the tv show) about 50% of the time and the other half Im pretty quiet.

Nonverbal cues, body language seem to interfere when I am discussing something that is maybe confrontational or controversial face to face. If someone is pretty heated from their perspective I tend to just listen because I don't like to see people get upset. I am more in tune with what they are feeling than with how I want to get across what I want to share. It's just me. But on the forums, I have time to read, come back to it, reflect, reread, and try to listen, organize my thoughts, clarify what I want to say and hopefully am more effective in what I am trying to communicate. God bless.

Real or not real that is the question. I am less outspoken on religious issues in person, but during working hours I still would be an A personality only in work related issues. When home I tone down to an A- so my wife won’t jump me. When I get on the PC; unless she is sitting across from me, I will shift back into the A personality on the religious or political forums. I think she can tell as my color will change sometimes, and than I will have to tone down or shift to a less stressful forum.
I have had very few situations in Cary, NC where religion has come up. My doctor noticed it on the medical charts, and now we have some great discussions on physics, as well as a non religious view on life in common. I think most of the people at the office know, but we have the same non religious view so again it is a non issue. In my only local social group they are all atheist. We meet several times a month for cook outs, and movies. Religion might be discussed, but it is more addressing issues which concern us related to Church and State issues.
With the exception of a few neighbors, I do not know many people who are Christians, and only a few who are practicing any religion at all.
Cary, NC has a large Indian population, and I suspect many are Hindu, but again they have never expressed any desire to push their faith on me or anybody else I know of.
I did meet a person the other day that was headed to PA for a series of classes with the Dali Lama. I suspect she was Buddhist, but again I was not even invited to PA with her.
With all that said I think regardless of where I am I still have a driver personality which on good days may be an A, but can flare up to stroke level with very little fuel. I would only come back on a religious person on an issue if it was pushed on me. I would not cut the individual much slack, but these situations are rare, and I like it better that way.

Yes, This is the real me. All the wry, deadpan, sardonic, tongue-in-cheek humor is me. Oh, except the real me is more fleshy and biologic than the writings I proffer.
I believe people should behave the same way all the time. I never cared for the contrived personality airs some people put on when they don their 'business personality' as opposed to when they are relaxed with friends. Doesn't mean they have to be rude or impolite, just be yourself.

I'm as real as I am G.I. Jesus, the Picasso of provocation, Captain Spearchucker and the Main Man from P.I.N.K.

I have photographic evidence that you exist, and if you didn't exist who would feed Misha?
